With over $39 million in live career tournament earnings, Daniel Negreanu tops the all-time poker money list leaderboard. This summer, Negreanu will try to add an elusive WSOP Main Event title to his hall of fame poker resume.
Negreanu is going off at +5000 as a co-favorite on the odds to win the 2018 WSOP Main Event at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Even the best tournament players in the world are massive underdogs in the huge fields that the WSOP Main Event draws. The Canadian pro had a remarkable run in 2015, finishing just shy of the final table with an 11th place finish in the Main Event.
The co-favorite to win the WSOP Main Event is Phil Ivey (+5000). Ivey ranks seventh on the all-time money list with over $26 million in live tournament earnings and is considered by many to be the best poker player in the world. The 41-year-old is tied for second all-time in World Series of Poker bracelets (awarded to winners of each WSOP event) with 10.
